Designs for Houndstooth Coffee

The pieces in the following pictures were designed specifically for Houndstooth Coffee in Austin, TX. The owners of Houndstooth wanted pieces that would create a rustic chic ambiance for their customers. The natural wood designs were created by Trevor Thurow, and the metal design work was done by Brian Chilton.

Reclaimed pine plank coffee table. The planks were hand sanded to reveal the original knots and cracks in the wood. Pull out benches offer extra seating. Great for apartment living.

Entryway Aviation Cabinet

This entryway aviation cabinet was designed for a house built on the grounds of the old Austin airport. The homeowner wanted the history of the old airport to meet her modern house design. The front aluminum panels open up for more storage and are accented with steel rivets. Designed and built by Trevor Thurow and Brian Chilton. See more of Brian’s work at http://www.brianchilton.com.
